Spring Appropriations Opens!

Attention all registered graduate student organizations! GSA will be appropriating funds to student organizations this spring in order to support your projects, initiatives and operations. We would love to help your organization out in any way we can.

Round 1

Completed applications for Round 1 must be submitted by Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Central Time 10:00 PM: online at https://utexas.collegiatelink.net/form/start/35740. Each organization must also indicate its available times for Round 1 interviews—which will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2014—via the following doodle website http://www.doodle.com/knhvfv6ges99wuma (Please include the organization name and interviewee name). Round 1 recommendations from the finance committee should be voted on by Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the general assembly. Approved organizations will be notified directly by the Financial Director of GSA after the vote is held. A representative from each organization receiving funds will be required to attend a spending workshop held by the GSA before his or her group’s funds will be released.


Round 2

Applications for Round 2 will be released on Thursday, February 6, 2014, and will be accepted until Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Central Time 10:00PM online at https://utexas.collegiatelink.net/form/start/35840. Each organization must also indicate its available times for Round 1 interviews—which will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2014—via the following doodle website http://www.doodle.com/unms4udceuf2wzq3 (Please include the organization name and interviewee name). The Round 2 recommendations should be voted on by Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Approved organizations will be directly notified by the Financial Director of GSA after the vote. A representative from each organization receiving funds will be required to attend a spending workshop held by the GSA before his or her group’s funds will be released.
